When it comes to issues related to the family, more and more people are turning to Dr. Randy Carlson
for advice, encouragement, and wisdom on how to live the best life possible. And on Saturday,
November 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dr. Carlson will be bringing the Intentional Living Marriage and
Parenting Conference to Mount Hope Church, Lansing,MI, to help couples improve their marriage and
enhance their parenting skills.
"A successful marriage doesn’t just happen," said Carlson, whose Intentional Living radio program airs daily on more than 250 radio stations across the nation. “If good looks made the difference, then attractive people would never divorce. And we know that’s not true.”
The morning of the conference will focus on key issues relating to parenting, such as how to stop negative behavior in its tracks, how to completely extinguish disrespect from the home, and how to raise your kids without raising your voice.
In the afternoon, Dr. Carlson’s teachings will focus on how to build a stronger and better marriage, focusing on topics such as how to build intimacy with your spouse and how to create a vision for the future, including getting out of debt and eliminating unhealthy emotions from your marriage.
Dr. Carlson is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the author of Starved for Affection, Father Memories, The Cain and Abel Syndrome, and the national best seller Unlocking the Secrets of Your Childhood Memories (co-authored with Dr. Kevin Leman). His latest book, The Power of One Thing, invites readers to begin moving toward change one daily, intentional step at a time.
