The Education Hour is at 9:30 each Sunday, when classes for all youth are held, ages 3 through High School.
Several adult forum discussion classes are held in the Fellowship Hall. ALL are invited to an hour of
learning & growing together!... AND bagels, coffee, and fellowship are available as well.
Except for certain holiday services, worship at Cross includes the celebration of the Lord's Supper and the
involvement of children on various levels. Worship Hosts direct a corps of volunteers who read lessons,
write & read congregational prayers, assist with the Lord’s Supper, and help provide a welcoming environment
for all. We invite all to the “Open” communion table that we share, regardless of your denominational
preferences or membership.
The Cross nursery coordinator, Penny VanHaverbeck, helps to provide care for little ones all morning.
She regularly updates toys & supplies, and keeps a clean & tidy space for children (up to age 5).
The Music Director at Cross is Matthew Tipton, who began this work in October, 2010. Matthew oversees the various choral
and instrumental groups at Cross. Music at Cross includes handbell choirs, cherubs & children's choirs, an adult choir,
strings and brass ensembles, and praise teams.
The Cross Creative Arts groups consist of people working to grow their creative talents and to improve their
relationships with God and each other. They include guitarists, dance teams, photographers, puppeteers,
scrap-bookers, graphic artists, as well as various musical groups.
